Psychosis is caused by imbalance of dopaminergic and seratonergic neurotransmission

produces tranquilization in psychiatric or schizophrenic patients.


Schizophrenia: decreases delusion and halucinations
speech/ thinking disturbance
age: teenage to young adult
genetic preponderence
